I ventured out of my little cubby hole of a work space today and took refuge at the kitchen table to catch a little breeze and a cup of tea. I’m progressing with this piece but solid areas of color can be a bit challenging. One of the things that you have to be careful of is trying to keep your dots evenly spaced in order to create the appearance of a smooth, continuous color flow. I have more of a free form stippling style so it’s easy to develop “rivers” where I don’t want them.

OMygosh! It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve been on here. Well, actually just two days. Other life duties called and I haven’t had much time for any Tumblr goodness.
